For vendors
Claim your listing
If a listing is yours and a recorded fact is wrong or out of date, a claim lets you correct it. Every change has to come with an official page that shows the current value.
What a claim can change
A claim is a correction request for the facts a listing records. It can cover:
- The official website link, for example after a product rename or a domain move.
- Pricing model, pricing details and whether a free tier exists.
- Compliance statements, each with a link to the framework's public documentation.
- Region support, deployment platforms and API availability.
- Use cases, where the vendor's own description has changed.
A claim without a link to the vendor's own page is treated as a report, not a correction. The reviewer has to be able to check the new value the same way the original value was checked.
What a claim does not change
- Ranking or position in category pages, search results or comparisons.
- The verification outcome: a field changes only when the source supports the new value.
- Whether a listing exists: claiming cannot remove a listing from the directory.
- Placement: sponsorship is a separate arrangement and claiming does not buy visibility.
A claimed listing is a corrected record, not a rewritten one. Fields that the sources cannot support stay as Not stated, and the verification process does not become less strict because the vendor is now involved.
What to include
- Your name and role at the vendor.
- A company email address on the vendor's own domain. A free webmail address cannot establish ownership.
- The URL of the listing to claim.
- Each requested change, with the official page that shows the current value.
- For compliance changes, the public documentation for the framework.
How long it takes
Claims are reviewed by hand in the same queue as new submissions. We confirm receipt and reply with the outcome within five business days. If more evidence is needed, we will say which field and which source are missing.
If the claim is accepted, the corrected listing shows the change together with an updated verification date, so a reader can see that the record was rechecked.
Reporting an error without claiming
You do not need to own a listing to report a mistake. Send the listing and the page that shows the correct value to the same address, and it will be handled under the editorial standards, including the five-business-day correction window.
