Paid inclusion
Paid inclusion policy
The line between visibility for sale and facts that are not: what a sponsor pays for, what stays out of reach, and how both are labelled.
What a paid placement is
A paid placement puts a listing in front of buyers in a labelled slot: the homepage showcase, a category page or a search result band. It is visibility, bought for a stated period and marked as Sponsored wherever it appears.
Paid placements are not yet on sale. Enquiries are handled by email and the terms below will apply when checkout opens.
What money cannot buy
Facts. Pricing, compliance frameworks, region support, platforms and verification dates are recorded from the vendor's own pages and are never altered because someone paid.
Editorial verdicts. The assessment paragraph is written by GreenAIX and is not reviewed or approved by the vendor before publication.
A place in the ranked list. Default ordering follows category fit and verification recency; a Sponsored slot is visually separate and does not reorder the organic results.
Labels
Every paid slot carries the Sponsored label on the page where it appears, and the listing page states that the placement is sponsored.
A Verified badge is different from a Sponsored label: it records that the listing facts were confirmed against official pages on a stated date. Verification is never sold and never shortened because of payment.
Affiliate links
Some listings carry an affiliate link. When one exists, the outbound button routes through /go/<slug> so the click can be attributed. Commission does not change the facts recorded in the listing or the position in the organic ranking.
Where a tool has no affiliate programme, the outbound link goes to the vendor's own page with no tracking parameter.
Corrections and removal
A vendor can request a correction with a public source at any time, whether or not they pay for a placement. Corrections are handled within five business days.
A vendor can request removal of their listing. Removal is separate from a paid placement: cancelling a placement does not remove the listing, and removing a listing does not refund a placement period already delivered.
Editorial independence
The directory exists to help buyers decide, so a listing that is not a good fit is described as such even when the vendor is a sponsor. The editorial standards page sets out the full set of rules, including the correction process and the language used in verdicts.
