BoaviztAPI

Overview

BoaviztAPI is the open API of the Boavizta working group, whose mission is to make environmental impact assessment of ICT and digital technologies in organisations more reliable, easier and faster. The API returns impact data for servers, cloud instances such as AWS instances, CPUs, GPUs, RAM, SSDs, HDDs, motherboards, power supplies, end-user devices and IoT devices, and its documentation covers both embedded impacts and usage impacts with electrical impact factors, power, duration and country parameters. A public demo API and the Datavizta pedagogical frontend are available, and the group publishes its methodologies, environmental data repositories and tools under open and free licences.
